Pressure from four sides. The double V-Grip series, as the name suggests, has two V-wedges. This exerts the pressure onto four sides of the rope, and the grip tightens the more load that comes on. The wedges are specially designed to fit precisely to the rope diameter, and distribute the pressure optimally across a large surface. In addition, the wedges retain grip on the rope when it is not loaded and is therefore always ready.
Test results show no forward movement of the rope when jaws grab and virtually no wear on the rope even under high loads.
The line can be retreived with closed clamp. The line automatically stops in the new position without slipping.
