This One Piece Frame block is CNC cut in one piece, in black anodized and teflon coated aluminum. It’s without pins or screws, and is a lightweight and strong construction.
The sheave is in composite material (aluminum in the large blocks), and runs on a composite bearing with stainless steel hub (see drawing above). This means that the bearing has low friction, can handle high loads and should not be lubricated.
The self-captive delrin side ball bearing reduces friction, making it easy to disassemble, clean and maintain.
