Snatch block with revolving cheekplates in hard anodized teflon coated alloy with protective rubber ring on the outside (yellow on the revolving side).
A safety-ball / 'click-system' is locking the cheekplate. This can also be locked completely by turning a screw on the other side.
The sheave is in composite material, and runs on a composite bearing with stainless steel hub (see drawing above). This means that the bearing has low friction, can handle high loads and should not be lubricated.
