Complete furling system for boats 28-30 feet. Choose this model if you do NOT have turnbuckle on your forestay.
This is a race version of the LX systems.
In the RX-system these extra functions are included:
- Aerodynamic sections with double-groove for easy sail changing.
- Rotating tack fitting with Torlon balls. This automatically takes up the sails fullness when furling
- Removable drum. The part of the drum can be disassembled in a few minutes and you can use your furling system as twin groove head foil.
Simple and sturdy
A simple and sturdy system built of aluminum. Drum and halyard swivel are sealed bearings with Torlon balls. With a Facnor furling system you get a reliable system with a minimum of maintenance.
Adapting to your boat: The telescope section (just above the drum) can be easily adjusted to fit your forestay. The specified length is the max length.
If you need more length, you can add extra profile pieces, respectively 1 or 2 m lengths. These can be cut to a precise desired length.
Maintenance: Rinse with clean water only. No oil or grease.
Can I assemble it myself?
The system is fairly easy to assemble, if you have a little ingenuity. Includes detailed assembly instructions in the package (also available under the Downloads tab).
