Complete furlingsystem
FlatDeck - The new generation of furling systems!
With a FlatDeck you get a furling system with a low profile drum and you benefit from a maximum luff – and in addition you have no risk of overriding thanks to the flat webbing and webbing exit. With this system you also get maximum furling power from the start of the furling, as the webbing has the biggest diameter when the furling starts, and therefore greater power.
Via a swivel fitting the furling is lead back to the cockpit through line leads that are easy to mount at the stanchions. The line leads are included in the package.
The drum and halyard swivel are closed bearings with Torlon balls and needs no maintenance other than rinsing with clean water (at the drum you rinse through the rinsing hole).
The external rotating tack fitting with Torlon balls takes up automatically the sail fullness when furling.
Maintenance: Rinse with clean water only. No oil or grease.
NB: It’s important to rinse the drum through the rinse hole every time it’s been exposed to salt water.
Can I assemble it myself?
The system is fairly easy to assemble, if you have a little ingenuity. Includes detailed assembly instructions in the package (also available under the Downloads tab).
